Tomorrow is the Big Day

We are supposed to pick Ryder up tomorrow and Praying everything goes O K and can just get this move over with. I will try and keep in touch through Dani but will only have my I phone to do anything. Computer is coming down in the morning and will not have it again until I find a good deal on a bundle package.
Nellie is moving to NM July first and we are going to really miss her but she will have a good teaching job with all the benefits and will also be able to get her Bachelors degree..We are very proud of her. Out of all 9 kids she is the only one that offered to help us move and she is far and has been sick.

Guess I will sign off for now and get some sleep so I am ready for BIG day tomorrow. I can check for comments with my phone but to much work to try and post with it.

Good By Crazies tomorrow

This will be my last post for a while because Internet will be down and haven't figured out yet to post to my blog with my phone.

We are moving out of the CRAZY Motel tomorrow and THANKS to my friend Dani (Eagles Wings) we have a home in the country for the fur babies. It was her persistence that found this house and I am in N IL and she is in CA.

We will be moving about 60 miles from where we are now in Motel. Very nice quiet town and nothing but farm country all around us. The house is a little rough (mostly bedrooms) but they have remodeled  the 2 bath rooms and kitchen. Will take time but will wait until we are setteled to worry about bed rooms  Here are some pictures of house and the area

 This is the house..3 BR 2 Bath and a pantry and 2 enclosed in porches .House has been empty since last Fall but will look a lot better when we have time and energy to do some cleaning up

 This pantry will hold a lot and will also be where the cats food dishes will be. Any mice that come in there are commiting suicide (also needs a good cleaning)

FIRES AND CRAZIES

FIRES AND CRAZIES AND I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. WE WENT TO TAKE THE DOGS OUT TO USE THE BATHROOM AND THIS IS WHAT WE SAW. ONE OF THE CRAZIES (AND IT IS A FACT..I FOUND OUT THAT THE STATE PAYS FOR A ROOM FOR THEM AND COMES AND PICKS THEM UP AND TAKES THEM TO THE FOOD PANTRY). THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO COOK OR ANYTHING IN THEIR ROOM SO DOES THAT MEAN THEY CAN LIVE ON  BREAD AND BUNS???
LAST NIGHT WE WERE EATING SPAGHETTI AND BILLY WAS NEAR THE WINDOW WITH THE CURTAIN OPEN A LITTLE SO HE CAN LOOK OUT AND THE ONE CRAZY CAME BY THE WINDOW AND SAW HIM.   A FEW MINUTES LATER HE WAS POUNDING ON OUR DOOR AND ASKING BILLY IF WE COULD GIVE HIM SOME SPAGHETTI BECAUSE HE HADN'T EATEN ALL DAY. THEN HE COMES BACK A LITTLE LATER WITH PACKAGE OF NOODLES IN HIS HAND (FROM THE FOOD PANTRY) AND TELLS BILLY HE SHOULD COOK THEM FOR HIM BUT HE WANTS BUTTER ON THEM...NO SAUCE ETC ETC. WE CAN'T GET HIM TO STAY AWAY FROM OUR ROOM
LAST NIGHT WE WENT OUT WITH THE DOGS AND CHECKED FIRST TO MAKE SURE THE MAN NEXT DOOR ISN'T OUT WITH HIS DOG (HE IS ABUSIVE TO DOGS) AND WHEN WE GOT OUT IN THE PARKING LOT HERE COMES HIS DOG RUNNING WITH A ROPE ATTACHED.&..LOOSE, AND I KNOW HE (OWNER) DID IT ON PURPOSE.... OF COURSE OUR DOGS WERE PULLING HARD ON THE LEASH AND WE COULD BARELY HANG ON TO THEM AND THE JERK (MAN) JUST KEPT WALKING REAL SLOW. SORRY BUT I LOST IT THEN AND WAS YELLING AT HIM TO GET HIS DOG AWAY FROM OURS. HE WAS JUMPING ALL OVER BIANCA AND ANNIE AND THEY ARE SMALLER THAN MAGGIE AND CALLI. THE DOG JUST WANTED TO PLAY AND I WAS REALLY SCARED HE WOULD HURT THEM PLUS IT COULD CAUSE ANNIE TO HAVE A SEIZURE AND THAT COULD KILL HER.
 I PULLED OUR DOGS BACK IN THE ROOM AND ALL THE OWNERS HERE AT MOTEL DID WAS TELL HIM TO TAKE CARE OF HIS DOG. HE TAKES HIS DOG OUT BACK AND THEN DOESN'T CLEAN UP AFTER HIM. BILLY GOES OUT ONCE OR TWICE A DAY AND PICKS UP THE POOP FROM ALL OF OUR DOGS AND EVEN THOUGH MOTEL OWNER TOLD MAN THAT HE HAS TO CLEAN UP AFTER HIS DOG...HE JUST REFUSES. BILLY PICKS IT UP SINCE HE HAS STEPPED IN IT AND ALSO BECAUSE MY DOG'S COULD PICK UP PARASITES AND I CAN'T AFFORD ANOTHER VET BILL.
THIS STORY GOES ON AND ON WITH DAILY HAPPENINGS BUT I WON'T GO ANY FARTHER...YOU GET THE MESSAGE.
THEREFOR I AM AFRAID TO GO OUTSIDE FOR FEAR ONE OF THEM WILL COME OUT AND EVEN HURT MY DOGS. THERE IS A CRAZY LADY A FEW ROOMS DOWN AND SHE CALLEED 911 YESTERDAY AND THEY SENT AMBULANCE BECAUSE SHE SAID SOMEONE STABBED HER CROTCH. ANOTHER ONE IS AT OUR DOOR WANTING A RIDE TO DOLLAR STORE AND SHE COULD BE GOING TO GET DRUGS FOR ALL WE KNOW (AND WE ARE NOT A TAXI SERVICE) ANOTHER ONE COMES AND WANTS A RIDE TO LIQUOR STORE...WHAT DON'T THESE CRAZIES AND DRUNKS UNDERSTAND..THE ANSWER IS "NO" (MOTEL OWNERS WILL RENT TO ANYONE WE HAVE FOUND OUT....
WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID I AM TO THE POINT OF BEGGING FOR SOMEONE TO RENT US A HOUSE. I HAVE LOST 20 POUNDS IN 2 MONTHS OF BEING HERE. HAVE TO TAKE SLEEP AIDS TO FALL ASLEEP JUST TO GET WOKE UP WITH YELLING OUTSIDE OR SOMEONE POUNDING ON DOOR.
MY DOGS GOT SICK BECAUSE IT WAS SO HOT IN HERE AND I TALKED TO THE VET ABOUT THEM AND THEY ARE VERY DEPRESSED.
I WENT TO DR TODAY AND THERE ARE A LOT OF TESTS AND EYE SURGERY I NEED BUT SHE SAID TO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT UNTIL WE FIND A PLACE TO LIVE. SHE CALLED IN A SCRIP FOR ME TODAY FOR DEPRESSION AND SAID IT MIGHT HELP MY NECK AND BACK PAIN TOO.
I HAVE MONEY SAVED UP FOR A HOUSE (ABOUT $600 MONTH OR EVEN UP TO 700 IF I HAVE TO AND I DON'T CARE HOW FAR AWAY WE HAVE TO GO. I AM TRYING TO SELL SOME MORE STUFF TO MAKE SURE I HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO RENT A U HAUL TO GO 100 MILES IF NEED BE.
I WILL BE RUNNING A SPECIAL FOR MY COOK BOOK AND ALSO MY HAND MADE PET BEDS TO HELP THE TRUCK RENTAL. I HAVE 3  ITEMS ON EBAY AND HOPE TO LIST MORE....DIRT CHEAP... ALSO HAVE SOME MORE FURNITURE FOR SALE THAT WE CAN DO WITHOUT ON CRAIGS LIST.
I WOULD LIKE TO ASK ANYONE THAT LIVES WITHIN 100 MILES OF WHERE WE ARE (ROCKFORD / WINNEBAGO) TO PLEASE LOOK FOR A RENTAL FOR US. I WILL NOT LIVE IN ROCKFORD OR FREEPORT AND REALLY PREFER WISCONSIN.... WE PREFER RURAL BECAUSE OF THE DOGS AND MOST TOWN CITY LIMITS ONLY ALLOW 3 DOGS..I CAN NOT GET RID OF 1 DOG. I AM AT MY WITTS END AND AT THE POINT OF JUST WISHING I COULD GO TO SLEEP AND STAY ASLEEP....THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS ME GOING AND PRAYING FOR A PLACE TO LIVE IS MY PETS. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD END UP LIVING LIKE THIS AT ALMOST 72 YEARS OLD. I KNOW PEOPLE SAY YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL FOR HAVING A PLACE TO LIVE AT ALL, BUT I WOULD CHALLENGE THEM TO COME AND LIVE HERE FOR 30 DAYS (WITH THE PETS AND A SPOUSE THAT HAS THE ONSET OF DEMENTIA)  AND THEN TELL ME HOW I SHOULD BE THANKFUL

Still Looking

Still Looking for a home for us and furbabies. So many things happening and so many things going wrong that I am not even going to take the time to write about it.
On the up side...Nellie came and spent a few nights with us and we went to Conservation area and then out to lunch. Here are a few pictures of some of the Beautiful things we saw

Only 1 seizure in a week and used to have 1 a day. Glad Mom and Dad took us all to the vet

It has been a very long 7 weeks for all of us in this tiny apartment and Dogs are being very good (except for barking when someone goes by our door or windows) and cats are doing a good job of keeping mice population down but we will all be a lot happier when we find a bigger place. Just hard to find a place with 4 dogs but we just keep praying and riding all over and checking newspapers ...so maybe soon. Maybe it won't be so long until I post again and maybe will have better news:)

we made it

It has been a real ride but we made it..got here the 24th but just now got my computer up and running. I could write a book about this move. I will post again as soon as i get refill for my pain pills..a better chair to sit on and a desk lamp so I can see.
Just wanted to let everyone know we are here.
I will NEVER rent another truck from Budget truck rental. not nice to deal with..Trucks are junk (even the heater blows out cold air) and they hit my bank account on 27th (3 days after we returned the trucks) for $104.55..I disputed it and my bank got it back
Will post again as soon as I can

M I A FOR A WHILE

Long story and can't talk about it right now. New LL (Fred died and son took over) came up here today and got violent with me and tried to shove storm door into my face..went on and on with nasty things about us and said to get the "F" out and go stay in Motel..I called the police and they told him to stay away or I would get restraining order so he said he would.
That changed plans from 2 weeks to this week end to move.
I can not sit here for 2 more weeks and be scared and now Billy will be driving one of the U Hauls
I will post again when moved and computer is hooked back up
Please keep us in your prayers and thank you all for being my friends and thanks to Dani for all her support now and always.

NOT MUCH LONGER..I CAN'T WAIT

Sorry I have been M I A for a while but it is getting more hectic plus having a few problems. I didn't think I was ever going to get the moving sale set up and wasn't having much cooperation with the weather. Here is what it looked like this morning

We do still have the mower and about 1/2 of the planters but about 1/2 or more is gone inside and outside
We had 2 A C units and sold 1 so far

There is going to be an auction just a few miles from here tomorrow so of course we have signs up trying to draw customers that might be going to that. They are auctioning off a house and all the contents so that will help. We sold the pick up Truck so won't have to rent car hauler and haul that up there and that will save $60.00 plus the insurance for the hauler..another bigger item we sold was our gas stove

We just put a small wooden table in it's space and can use electric fry pan and microwave...Looks kind of weird with it gone

I have someone coming to look at the vintage stained glass windows tomorrow and keeping fingers crossed. Also sold the round table and 4 chairs but still have the drop leaf table and it takes up a lot of room so hope it sells tomorrow
The other bigger items I am selling is a book case..computer desk and the vintage French Provincial dresser set.
We took a trip up North on the 4th and it was not good. Billy was O K Sunday but woke up on Monday with short term memory loss and it is really bad. That is a big problem for me because now more things are left up to me. He stopped for directions 3 times within 5 miles (on a trip we have made many times)  and they told him directions and by the time he walked back out to car...he forgot. That is when I realized something was wrong. I went in the third time and lady in gas station had to repeat directions 6 times and then he still tried to go South when we were going North. It is not good and he knows there is something wrong but refuses to admit it. I made Dr appt for him on Monday and he is refusing to go so there may be a big fight. It is really scaring me because he also opened the door today and Labs got out and were gone for about 3 hours and where we will be staying there is a very busy highway close and that worries me a lot. My son said he would put a fenced in area for us while we stay there and that will help but we will have to walk them out there on leash. I also found a trainer up there that said she can train them not to take off. I don't know how much it will cost but I really have no choice and I do not want to have to scrape them up off the highway.
I will start selling again as soon as we get moved to try and save up for my Dogs. While they were running the woods they also got in a lot of mud so that meant baths (and just went ahead and did all 4 of them) and after setting up for sale plus running the sale I do have  back and neck pain.
I just want this to be over and get him to the Dr. We are picking the U Hauls up on the 4th and 1 son is coming down on train to help plus I was able to find some other help. One man that came to sale today bought 4 cook books so that was a big help also. I know some of you have been praying for me and it is working so please keep the prayers coming.
I will post pictures of what is left at moving sale in my next post and maybe even have some better news about Billy.
I do come on computer some times late at night and am able to leave comments on a few posts so please don't think I am ignoring the rest of you...I will try and leave comments as soon as I am able. Hope everyone has a great week.
